Monitoring
At your request we will monitor default services such as httpd and ssh every minute and check for a page load every 5 minutes. Our system can then email you if it detects a problem.
Our system can monitor the following:
- FTP:21
- SSH:22
- DNS:53
- HTTP:80
- POP3:110
- WHM:2086
- cPanel:2082
- MySQL:3306
DoS monitoring
We will endeavour to monitor your server for DoS and notify you of attack. This is part of our active network monitoring. If the DoS is an incoming attack, we will stop block it at our gateway routers. If outgoing we will try and help you find the compromise.
Hardware replacement
We will replace hardware at our expense with onsite spares if any should fail.
Hack recovery and dissection
If your server is hacked we will help you figure out why by going through logs and directories. We recommend a fresh system after a hack and will help you transfer content to the new system.
Services configuration help
Our technicians will help you initially configure your dedicated server and answer questions on services configuration including cPanel, WHM, DNS, email etc.
Services restart
If you lose a service we will restart it at your request if you do not have access. We will require your root password for this service.
Server troubleshooting
Server not performing well? We will try and help you troubleshoot and make recommendations to possible upgrades for performance improvements based on our observations.
cPanel support
If you purchase a cPanel liscence from us - we will provide support that is to the best of our knowledge, or help you seek further advanced assistance.
OS patch and secrity updates
We will update your computer using RedHat Network or Microsoft Update at your request up to once a month at no charge.
